Department of Standards Malaysia (JSM)
The Department of Standards Malaysia (JSM) is the national standards and accreditation body under the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI). It is responsible for developing and promoting the use of Malaysian Standards (MS), as well as accrediting laboratories, certification bodies, and inspection bodies to ensure alignment with both national and international standards. JSM plays a vital role in upholding quality and safety, while supporting Malaysia’s access to global markets.
