HDC – Halal Product Sourcing Using Halal Navigator (HaNa) and Halal Integrated Platform (HIP)

This session introduces Halal Navigator (HaNa), an AI-powered assistant, and the Halal Integrated Platform (HIP), developed by HDC to address one of the key pain points in the Halal industry: sourcing for Halal-certified ingredients and products. Designed for businesses seeking Halal-certified suppliers or buyers worldwide, HaNa connects Japanese companies with Malaysian suppliers, Malaysian buyers with Japanese products, and extends its reach to facilitate connections across the globe.

The session will provide an overview of HaNa and HIP, including how the technology works, how to onboard products, and how buyers can request product sourcing. A live demonstration will showcase HaNa’s capabilities, such as multilingual support (30+ languages, including Japanese) and seamless supplier-buyer connections. Participants will engage in an interactive demo, using HaNa devices to experience its features firsthand.

Key benefits include eliminating language barriers, accessing verified Halal-certified suppliers and buyers worldwide, and addressing the challenge of sourcing Halal-certified ingredients efficiently. The session concludes with an interactive Q&A, addressing stakeholder queries and gathering feedback for future enhancements.

By the end of the session, participants will understand how to leverage HaNa to find and connect with potential Halal product suppliers or buyers globally. HaNa will be available at the Malaysian Pavilion from 14 April until 20 April, allowing visitors to explore sourcing opportunities and interact with the platform. All queries captured during this period will be analyzed by HDC for further action.
