Established in 1989, TAKSU is a leading Southeast Asian contemporary art gallery and specialist. With over three decades of experience, TAKSU has provided a platform for local and international artists to develop and showcase their talents across the region. The gallery represents a diverse selection of fine art with a distinctly urban edge, featuring both emerging talents and critically acclaimed artists distinguished by their academic backgrounds and regional and international awards. Beyond exhibitions, TAKSU offers art consultancy services, art leasing, and special commissions for corporate projects. The gallery also supports the arts community through its TAKSU Artist Residency Program (TARP) in Kuala Lumpur, providing artists with opportunities to build on their practice and fuel their creativity. With locations in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, TAKSU continues to be at the forefront of the contemporary art scene in the region.
