(JSM) Pocket Talk 1 – Accreditation of Testing & Calibration Laboratories

JSM’s accreditation expert will share on JSM accreditation system is in accordance to the international standard ISO/IEC 17011 to ensure that the accreditation services provided are impartial, non-discriminatory and credible.

The primary objective of accreditation services is to provide a credible accreditation service such that ultimately endorsed test reports and calibration certificates are accepted internationally. The accepted mechanism for recognition is by means of the Mutual Recognition Arrangements framework of the International Laboratory Accreditation Co-operation (ILAC) and Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC).
