Ministry of Economy
Ministry of Economy is responsible to plan, implement, monitor and review policies including implementation of development programmes and projects (by the ministries/agencies) holistically towards achieving the nation’s socioeconomic goals and outcomes. The Ministry is entrusted to develop the Malaysia Plan, the five-year national development plans that outline the country’s economic, social, and infrastructure goals that promote sustainable growth, reduce poverty, and achieve balanced regional development, aligning with long-term national objectives. Ministry of Economy is also the country focal point for SDG and ESG.
